Krypto Logos ("the app," "the site," "we," "us") is a free tool for memorizing Bible verses, available at kryptologos.org. This policy explains what happens with your information when you use it.
No accounts, no personal information required to use the app
Krypto Logos does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information in order to use the app itself.
The weekly verse list and contact form
The website offers two optional forms: a weekly email signup, and a contact form. If you use either, we collect only what you enter — your email address for the weekly list, or your name, email, and message for the contact form. This information is used solely for its stated purpose: sending the weekly verse and occasional updates about Krypto Logos, or responding to your message.
We do not rent, sell, or share this information with anyone, for any purpose.
If you'd like to be removed from the weekly verse list, use the contact form to let us know and we'll remove you. (An automatic, one-click unsubscribe link is planned for the future as the weekly email itself is built out.)
Where your verses live
Every verse you add is stored locally in your web browser, on your own device. This data is never transmitted to Krypto Logos or to any server we operate. If you clear your browser's data, uninstall the app, or switch devices, that information is not something we hold a copy of — we simply never had it.
Backing up your verses
The app includes an optional Backup feature that creates a file containing your verses. This file is generated entirely on your own device and is sent only to a destination you personally choose — for example, your iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or your own email. Krypto Logos does not receive, store, or have access to this file at any point.
Standard web hosting logs
Like virtually every website, kryptologos.org is served through a hosting provider (currently Netlify), which automatically logs basic technical information for security and operational purposes — things like IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested. This is standard infrastructure-level logging common to almost all websites. Krypto Logos does not add any additional tracking, analytics, or advertising scripts on top of it.
Cookies and tracking
Krypto Logos does not use cookies, analytics tools, or advertising trackers as of this writing. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
Third-party links
The site links to external services we don't control, including a Ko-fi page for optional financial support and social media profiles. If you choose to interact with those services, their own privacy policies apply, not this one.
Children's privacy
Because Krypto Logos does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children either.
Changes to this policy
If how Krypto Logos handles information ever changes — for example, if a future cross-device sync feature is introduced — this page will be updated, and the date above will reflect it.
